Gaming at only 50% ish CPU usage is around 80c+. I always used to idle at 30-40c and gaming loads around 65c when using the 1700, 2700x, 3700x etc.I changed my CPU voltage in BIOS to 1.375 as suggested by Makaroni, idle temps went down to about 53-56*C, ran Cinebench R23 multi-core and maxed out at about 73.3*C, that was all with my fans on 100%. There is no comparing to other Ryzen 5000 CPUs (Ryzen 7000 maybe). Water isn't guaranteed to help, especially without a newer block made with these CPUs in mind (Optimus, TechN, Velocity2).
