Hi, i was wonder what class is most ideal/preferred to calamity players. Since it is 1.4 i wanted to try out summoner, as in vanilla it is actually more viable thanks to the whips. but since i am playing Master Mode and Revengeance mode, jungle whip and obsidian armor were very underwhelming, to the point where i just could not defeat the big bad bee, i switched to minigun with meteor ammo to ...There are less available summon slots, while summons deal more damage in the next update. Melee is the most balanced class, Mage is also quite fun as well. Imo, Ranger is kind of boring, Rogue is gimmicky and unbalanced, and Summoner is insanely overpowered if you get the right accessories. Melee in my opinion.
