Seems odd you would go from flooding at WOT to what appears to be a lean condition.Make minor adjustments and recheck the RPM with a tachometer after each adjustment. Adjust the high-speed screw until the required RPM range is obtained. The ideal RPM range for a Predator 212 engine is typically between 4800-5200 RPM. Once you have reached the needed RPM range, let the engine run for a few minutes.

This confuses me because it has sat for longer and run just fine. I adjusted the idle screw, took the bowl, jet, and air filter off and hit it with some carb cleaner, and put a little more fresh gas in it all to no avail. It will idle just fine on choke - it will even rev - but as soon as I take it off choke it dies.The track is a parking lot, flat, about 1/10 mile in length. I have no idea what happened?I have a 2006 Predator 500. Ran fine then all of a sudden it bogged out and died then wouldnt restart. At first it turned over but wouldn't fire. Fuel was low so I filled it and let it sit. The next day it started perfectly fine but would start then die. The quad is new to me and it looks like it has an aftermarket pipe and intake.

I just built a complete 22re and did the efi swap at the same time.
