My 2008 Impala 3.5 runs rough at 1000-1500 rpm. If I start running; first gear (ok) second gear (ok) third gear (ok), fourth gear (ok). The engine revs at +/- 2000rpm. If I slow down, the rpm down to 1500-1200 rpm, the engine runs rough, hesitate. My wife just called to tell me she had gotten an "Engine hot, AC off" message when she was leaving the subdivision in our 2007 SS. She said she also got another message, approximately "engine powered down". No codes yet, but I'll get some when I get home tonight.On my 2008 Chevy pickup, the temp gauge would show normal temp and all if a sudden would drop out down to 160 on dash. When this happened, the panel would show ENGINE HOT, AC OFF. I had this problem for months.
