C4000xg blinking blue light
I noticed my fiber jack blinking blue last night. I checked the Google Fiber tech support page, and it indicated that the fiber jack may blink blue for up to 30 minutes if it's receiving an upgrade, but it said to contact support if it does so for longer than that. I chatted with tech support, and they tried to restart the fiber jack remotely ...Power down the router and the My Cloud. Wait a few minutes and then power on the router and wait for it to finish booting into operating mode. Then power on the My Cloud. Leave all other network devices disconnected from the router. Then observe how the My Cloud boots and if it boots properly to a solid blue LED.

I've got CenturyLink fiber (940up/940down) with a provided c4000xg modem/router (in the basement). I've currently got an Airport Extreme acting as an access point with no issues (on the second floor). I've read about putting the c4000xg into Transparent bridge mode, but I am not sure if that would help any.11-21-2014 01:17 PM.
