The slide door light indicates a stored code for the doors. If the slide door light is still on then you can jump the #4 and #9 pins of the DLC and then turn on the key to read the codes on the dash. If the passenger side is dimmer, there could be resistance in the circuit to that light. If you have a multimeter, measure the voltage at the socket.Determine from the chart, or the diagram on the fuse box lid, which fuse or fuses control that device.
