The oldest graduate fellowship of its kind, the NSF-GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding students in NSF-supported disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited institutions in the United States.The two external sources most commonly sought by our students are NSF Graduate Research Fellowships and Fulbright Fellowships; the latter is administered at UM through the International Institute.
