Oct 2, 2011 · 13. Look under the firing pin stop, as I think there may be a partial serial number there. It appears the original serial number may have been defaced, as the surface area around it looks to have been messed with. It may be an early attempt to have the gun re-numbered, but not sure if its an early ATF attempt. I suggest that you call Colt (800-962-2658) and ask them for the correct serial number range for a 2013 gun. I hope you find the right one. Like. J.
