It is the axe with the lowest damage, crit and durability, but it is also, by far, the lightest. Being light (1.2) uses less endurance and lets you swing it many more times than the Fire Axe. A real axe can be repaired with glue, tape, the like. The best being 'wood glue'. But each time you repair it, it looses some durability until eventually, its not worth repairing anymore.
