It's an upgrade in terms of defense and allows you to use the Slayer Helm on a few more tasks, but generally speaking you can wear a Salve Amulet(Enhanced and/or Imbued) on some of the tasks for a superior bonus, and it doesn't stack with the Slayer Helm's bonus.Thanks.
