imo the only necessary thing is the boots, if you have stuff like exalted duel hat and robe, ring and athane from dime and cronus then the upgrade is pretty minor. Also morganthe drops a really good amulet and athane. If you're in Azteca, with two wizards you both can probably do Waterworks in 60-90 minutes. As long as you stay aware of the cheats, you should have no problem working through the dungeon. This is the guide I use: To be honest, these days most people just find a willing high level player to breeze through it. This is mostly for the squid boss since he has the feint cheat; If you have a pet who has the feint spell, keep that in deck, it won't trigger his cheat like regular feints. I think same thing with traps, if your pet has a trap spell, keep that in.Boots give critical, damage, and resist with some power pip as well. Option 2. Keep the Water works hat and robe and craft the block boots in azteca so that you get a bit of resist and more block than crit. Option 3, you can do Tartarus for gear which in my opinion is a absolute waste of time.

The resist stats are the in every school the damage is often less. In my opinion a waste to try and get it. you spend all day farming and then its not as good as the coin gear ... The new Waterworks area came out in Crab Alley for lvl 60+ wizards and in there the bosses drop the real ultimate gear in the spiral so far. This guide will list the gear that is dropped in Waterworks. Its a work in progress and Waterworks is very hard so the guide might take a couple of days to complete.Having Wintertusk crafted definitely makes farming WW/HoS a lot easier than if you were using Olympus or Bazaar gear, especially if you’re unlucky and it takes many runs to get all the gear you need. And it also helps while you’re still questing from 56-60 too. And most of the reagents aren’t too difficult to get for the WT crafted gear.

You will also have to have Crab Alley unlocked and I believe you may need to complete it.
