WRONG. If you unplug the seat-belt wire under the driver's seat, then the car thinks that the driver is belted in ALL THE TIME. This effectively gets rid of the chime and (almost) gets rid of the flashing seatbelt warning light in the instrument cluster. While it does indeed have the option to disable the chime/warning ding, it works for only the Front row (driver and passenger) as well as the middle row (it calls that "rear" in the ios app). So you can disable 5 of the 8 seats leaving only the rear/back.

What I really wanted was to disable the chime (do-do-do) that happens 8 times when the car is started when you don't have your seatbelt buckled. I guess I'll have to look into if this can be disabled in FORScan.
