The bolt holes go into the engine water jacket, and the coolant can run up the threads, and leak out the head gasket, if there is no sealer put on the bolts.Lay the end of the magneto wire about 1/4 inch from the engine block. Ignition switch on, touch and remove the end of the wire you removed from the magneto. If the coil is good, you will have a spark from the magneto coil wire to the engine block.
