2013 ford edge sunroof problems
1. Posted July 3, 2020. I have a 2019 Ford Edge SEL. Bought it in Sep 2019 new. The sunroof makes a noise when going through dips and bumps. Took it to the dealer twice now and am told it is normal noise. This is the 3rd Ford Edge I have had with the Panoramic sun roof and there was no noise in the other 2.The 2013 Ford Edge has 1 problems reported for sunroof shade loose. Average repair cost is $500 at 65,000 miles.The moonroof had been fully closed and sunshade fully closed (forward). Using the switch, the sunshade fully retracted, then I opened the moonroof with the switch, and it went fully up, (nearly a 1 1/2") opening. Now it won't close, and the sunshade will only close half way forward. I have verified that the fuses, F80, and F37 are both good.
