COE and TRIO Programs. The Council offers training and services to student support staff at more than 1,000 colleges, universities, and agencies to help low-income students enter college and graduate. Our members and their efforts make all the difference to hundreds of thousands of students participating in TRIO every single year.TRIO SSS has scholarship opportunities for students in the SSS and SSS STEM programs. Scholarships will have a minimum award of $500 and be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. The number of scholarships given will be determined by the number of applications and awards given. TCC offers two TRIO programs, both funded by the U.S. Department of Education: The TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) program provides you with counseling and information on college admissions—to TCC or another college or university. The program also provides services to improve the financial and economic literacy of participants.
