I believe I am experiencing a similar issue of late. I take advantage of shield-gating on Mirage with a shield value of 60 (decaying dragon key equipped). I am using Brief respite along with a few auger mods. My energy efficiency is at 50%. Recasting eclipse for example, usually restores my shields to 100% plus over-shields.If you're not hurting for survivability right now, just slap on Rolling Guard.
