If it keeps going back into limp mode the trans electronics are probably glitched and the TCM is the first component I'd check. Unfortunately, this will take a dealer to correct.To fix the u0101 fault code, check for a faulty Transmission Control Module (TCM), open or shorted TCM harness, poor electrical connection in TCM circuit, or a faulty Engine Control Module (ECM).
