Now, shove some raw meat or prime meat and narcotics/ biotoxin down its throat and voila! You have your very own Rex! METHOD 2: The Cheap and Lazy Method. Saddle armor is 4x effective against bronto and rex attacks so if you use a high saddle thyla you will barely take any damage.Next you need to lower the rhynio to below 10% hp, you can net them to make this easier. Once it is below 10% hp you need a mount with a high drag weight in order to inherit the best stats, carch/giga have best chances. Feed the creature the phermone and mount it. The rhynio should impregnate it within a few seconds.

If you use crop grown veggies instead of berries for a tame, the dino will end up with higher TE and give more bonus level. That is all. Using veggies over berries does not speed up the tame.
