2019 chevy impala low pressure ac port
I need to recharge my AC...however; none of my R134a adapters will fit the service fitting on the low or the high pressure side. Any ideas?RalphP. 1227 posts · Joined 2010. #2 · May 22, 2011 (Edited) If you look down between the alternator and the firewall, towards the ground, you'll see the low pressure port on the line that's run down low, close to the bottom of the motor, from the firewall to the front of the car. The line runs down the rail in front of the harmonic dampener.

On this vehicle, it is an "accumulator". The AC port on the accumulator is the Low Pressure (LP)connection to the system. The other access port is the High Side port and is located under the shroud on top of the radiator/condenser area in the left front of the engine compartment.
