My phone is set-up identically to hers, at least I think it is. iMessage is why my wife got the iPhone in the first place, and she is upset that she cannot get photos from our daughter.For the last month or so, I have noticed that photos sent and received through iMessage are often displayed as an .heic file name (see screenshots below).
