In order to receive federal, state, and institutional financial aid, students must maintain Satisfactory Academic progress (SAP). To maintain SAP, students must do 3 things: Pass Attempted Courses. Pass and complete a minimum of 67 percent (75 percent for Graduate Students) of all attempted courses. Classes must be completed with a passing grade.Financial Hold means that a student ’s access to financial aid funds (and graduation) is in jeopardy. If a student has not maintained a 90% attendance rate and a 70% cumulative grade, C-TEC cannot disburse student financial aid at the end of the disbursement period.
