The 238/938 are also among my favorites when I want to carry light. I have a minor obsession with small 9mm and 380 Auto pistols. In addition to the Sigs, I have carried a Kimber Micro 9 in 9mm and 380, a Solo, Springfield 911 (also in both 9 and 380), RM380 and a Colt Mustang. All excellent. I still wear the RM380 on my ankle quite often.

The guide rod is known to dismember and fly forward without warning. I will say both magazines performed flawlessly for me, however the P398 magazines were slightly easier to load by hand. Additionally the Kimber magazines have visible weld marks while the P938 magazines do not. The bottom of the Sig magazines also have a nice engraved branding. The Kimber’s are plain on their bottom.
