From this point, i cant turn traction control back on until i restart vehicle. The brake light goes off within 10 seconds. I cant feel a difference in braking.Most of the time this is due to a bad connection or a failing ignition switch. If this is occurring with the locks as well as a power loss then you may have a bad ignition switch. I would treat these as separate issues though. I would start by checking for any codes in the computer relating to the power loss and check all of the sensor readings ...Step 3: Disconnect the traction control module. Once located, unplug any electrical connectors to the module. Take pictures or use masking tape to label any connectors so you have no questions as to where they belong later.
