Only on some of the newer 2500 and bigger trucks do they have to be programmed. The OE sensors are expensive but they are also much more reliable and less prone to failure. For the last truck marketed as “Dodge Ram 1500” (made in 2010), the pressure is 35 psi for both front and rear tires for most trim levels. For the rest of the trims, the pressure is 35 psi for the front tires and 45 psi for the rear tires.
