WASHINGTON (AFNS) -- All Air Force civilian employees are slated to be using a new, standardized Air Force pay system by June 2013. The Automated Time Attendance and Production System will standardize the pay method across the service and will be implemented first at Air Force Global Strike Command and Air National Guard bases on July 29.Civilian pay transitions into ATAAPS. U.S. Air Force civilians are now able to access and input timecard information through the Automated Time Attendance and Production System. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., began using the system April 21, 2013. It includes three lessons: timekeeper review, labor, and inquiries. Each lesson contains information to help someone in the timekeeper role navigate through ATAAPS and ensure employees are correctly completing their time cards.
