Sure, the oldest preserved masoretic text is 1,000 years old or so, but there's no reason to suspect it varies that much from the texts of 1,000 years prior, as seen in dead sea scroll discoveries. I would argue a copy 500 years older than Qumran would probably be the same too, or mostly the same for various books.Some of the works discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls were known previously, having been preserved in translation since Second Temple times.
