Glock 30s vs 30sf
I just got the Shield 45 and have found that is much thinner than the Glock 30s ever was, in fact it's just a hair bigger than the Shield 9. Fits in the same holsters even. It's almost the exact same thickness as the 9, just a rougher texture on the grip. If you want a Glock 30sf, the Gen.4 Glock with no back strap should be the same as the Gen. 3 SF. The S model 30's have a thinner slide like the 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 Sig Glocks. Unfortunately they come on the 30sf lower, so no Gen.4 option as of yet.I owned the Glock 30, it was too big for me to shoot accurately. I ditched it and got the Glock 36, never looked back. still got it. I owned the XDs45, in two-tone. Fine gun, very thin, VERY VERY easy to carry. Traded it on a Glock 27. I prefer the 40 cal, like the Glocks alot as far as being great tools. IF.... the XDs is ever offered in 40 cal.
