PATCH 1.3. This patch changed a LOT with the Skull Cavern. Some minor things are the addition of new monsters which drop more iridium. Monsters also hit harder now. The three biggest changes are regarding exploits (yes, I know what you're thinking!).Treasure rooms are heavily affected by luck. The base chance is around 1% per floor but with the best luck possible that goes up to around 9-12%. With autopetters being a 1/26 chance from treasure rooms you’ll want as many treasure rooms as you can get. Use all the staircases, only stopping at treasure rooms.
