That said, it does still give you the +1 on the roll no matter what.

This makes an average damage of 16*17/20=13.6 on the first attack with the rune. (8.4 without the rune) On the second attack a 13 is needed to hit, and only a nat 20 crits. It makes for an average of 9*17/20=7.65 damages. (4.725 without the rune)Dealing 1d6+10 on a bite against piercing weakness would potentially be better than 2d8 slashing with a striking weapon, even factoring the +1 accuracy. Craft Requirements You are a master in Crafting. Armor Potency (+3) Item 18Homebrewing a returning shield. Hello fellow pf2e players. One of my players recently rerolled a lizardfolk everstand stance liberator champion. He would like to get into a "shield is mah weapon" gimmick and chose everstand stance and strike. But he would also like to follow a captain america trope with, you guessed it, a returning shield. These metal spikes are strategically placed on the defensive side of the shield to deal piercing damage with a shield bash. Success It’s enfeebled 2 until the end of your next turn.Yes, the rules for that are on page 370: Etching a rune on an item follows the same process as using the Craft activity to make an item. You must have the formula for the rune, and the item you're adding the rune to must be in your possession throughout the etching process. The rune has no effect until you complete the Craft activity. The anarchic rune's effect is designed to make critical hits swingier; it does this by adding another d6 roll. On a 1 or 2, a critical hit deals 2 damage per d4, and 2 damage per d8. On a 3 or 4, a critical hit is as normal, with 5 damage per d4, and 9 damage per d8. On a 5 or 6, a critical hit deals 8 damage per d4, and 16 damage per d8.Say you find (or conjure up) a +1 striking weapon. This doesn't just mean you have a striking rune on the weapon! RAW, you should still be able to use the Musket after this ...Spellhearts are made from the same basic materials as talismans, though their complex construction—magically iterated around the concept of a single kind of spell—gives them a variety of additional powers and means they persist rather than burning out when used. Unlike talismans, a spellheart can be used repeatedly, and doesn't burn out ...The DC of the Crafting check to transfer a rune is determined by the item level of the rune being transferred, and the Price of the transfer is 10% of the rune's Price, unless transferring from a runestone, which is free. Property runes give all sorts of different effects to weapons or armor.Item 7. A conducting weapon can channel energy through it. The weapon gains the resonant weapon trait, except that when you Conduct Energy, the weapon deals an additional 1d8 damage of the selected type instead of 1 additional damage per die; if the weapon already had the resonant weapon trait, it deals 1d8 damage plus 1 damage per die instead.A general strategy then is to decide what is the minimum number of traits you want on your main weapon, and look for that alone to maximize your dice size.
