2005 Sportsman 700 - Hard to shift. I read a lot of the posts on this topic and was not convinced that there was a clutch, belt or idle problem because it ws very difficult to shift when it was not running. I am passing this along hoping that someone with a similar issue will benefit.Amdforever. Your Override switch should have 3 wires; purple, gray/white stripe, and gray/red stripe. The purple wire traces to the tranny and becomes active when in reverse.
