There is a guy on here that built a 402 based motor with a 4.25 crank. Wanna say it was either 4.155 or 4.185 bore. Had pistons custom made with the higher pin location to use a 6.385 rod. KB has an off the shelf piston to fit a 4" crank in a 396/402 block using stock 6.135 rods. At 4.155 bore nets a 434", at 4.185 bore nets a 440".454 bored 20 over. Around 458 or 9 if you round up. This would be with the standard stroke. According to Wikipedia the 454 has 454.2 CID via a 4.251 inch bore and a 4 inch stroke. ( (4.251 / 2)^ 2) * pi = ~14.19 square inches.
