March 4, 2008 - Gaylord. The Gaylord area trails still have snow covered ice on them. The ice has created a lot of bumpy and slippery spots. We are suppose to get more lake effect snow this week and weekend, which should help a lot. Off trail riding is still fine. We have about 16 inches on the ground.This new gem is undoubtedly one of the nicest trails in Michigan, traversing along the east banks of Otsego Lake. It has quaint seating areas and many places to stop and explore.
