Can't connect traeger to wifi
As a result i set up my wifi extender to replicate only the 2.4g wifi signal in hopes of just connecting to that. I tried resetting the grill itself by going into settings, about grill and holding ignite until the Traeger symbol comes up to reset it. Its still saying its trying to download. Using the app it wont connect to the grill.Select the right category and find the device (Wi-Fi) that needs to be added. After clicking, you need to enter the Wi-Fi password (most devices only support 2.4G wireless network). Click the button in the upper right corner, you can select the pairing mode of the device (fast blinking is EZ Mode, slow blinking is AP Mode).

Same issue with my Traeger and google WiFi. The traeger can only read 2.4ghz and as previous person mentioned, there isn’t a dedicated 2.4ghz band on google WiFi with its own name. Frustrating spending that much money on a traeger and having such an outdated module with no antenna.Other thing i had myself, is that due some kind of software problem on the Traeger, it wouldn’t connect until i powered of the grill, powered it back on, and did a factory reset.
