A player has already added nomad... where is the discussion of mods? Discussion. Just on the 13th a player uploaded an "Advanced Game Settings" mod in the PUP. It adds game speed, regicide changes, and a custom Nomad style game mode you can use on any map; super cool! There are also mods which adjust the unit size, and population limits.
Luckily, aoe4 solves some issues that aoe2 had when it comes to graphics and clarity. We don't need stuff like Small Trees, where aoe2 players are at a small disadvantage without the mods. I think you actually download them in-game, or you can subscribe via the age of empires website (but you need an account). I'm working on a big realism mod at the moment but haven't actually downloaded other mods yet so not seen the interface!
