1D7 and 1B4 are a major difference. 1D7 is the old 3D AFSCs but now they are "operations". The main focus is the same, manning MDTs or supporting a COS. I am not knocking 1D7s but they are still a support role (as of now) which is easier to get into. The 1B4 side is largely DCO (Blue Team) but you can go red team or OCO.All 1D7s except for data operations will get a baseline Q shred. Others will get additional training to be an M or W.
