Jul 16, 2020 · What frats are old row at UGA? Oldest fraternities and sororities at UGA. Beta Theta Pi. Beta Theta Pi was founded on Aug. Sigma Chi. Sigma Chi was founded at Miami University of Ohio in 1855 and the Delta chapter at the University of Georgia was established in 1872. Chi Phi.Overall, the New Row houses are bigger and nicer but further from campus. Old Row - Really there’s only Sigma Nu. Back when old SAE and Sigma Chi we’re top fraternities before getting kicked off, this was the better row. It’s closer to campus but the houses are older and the fraternities aren’t that great.The fraternities were then to pay back the balances of the loan over a 40-year period. That site eventually did become the site of Fraternity Park when 13 fraternities, some displaced from their houses by development of the campus made possible by the Yale Avenue Urban Renewal Project, built new houses in the 18-acre Fraternity Park.

It saddens me also Old Row fraternities and sororities have slipped so much in the past 5 years that I am almost embarrassed to admit being in an old row sorority.
