Basically, if when you try to open GD on Steam it says that it's opening but then doesn't open, do this: Right click on GD on Steam and go to Properties. Go to Local Files and 'Browse Local Files'. Right click on GD and go to Properties again. Click on Compatibility and switch the compatibility mode from Windows 8 to Windows 95.If you right click on it, there should be an option like "extract here" or "extract all".
