What you need to do is find out which actuator has gone bad. There are 3 actuators (if you have a duel temp control) there is one for the left temp door, right temp door and the recirculation door. The recirculation door actuator is the most common because it opens and closes almost every time the car is started and turned off.I have a 2012 Chevy Malibu.
