Turn the ignition switch to the Off position. Be certain that all electrical accessories are turned off. Remove the battery cover.Make sure car is in park. Next try to move the steering wheel the small amount it's allowed and try to start it. Car is indeed parked. I told my wife earlier to turn the wheel as much as she could then press the starter button, but still didn't work. Hopefully its just the car battery itself that's going bad.
