Wings is the best and most populated server, no horrible db and up to wotg content and community working on It to delivery more content, its great there with 300-500 players all the time. %100 agree with you there. Wingsxi is probably the most active but the dunes are dead. It's pretty much solo gaming only. 2-4 core CPU (at least 2GHz or more is ideal.) 4gigs of RAM (more will be needed if you start having larger player counts.) SSD is ideal to help with load times and SQL access speeds. Storage space will depend on your OS and what else you plan to host on the server. (ie a website, client download, etc.)

This is my first ever FFXI private server and I'm not looking back. In this server, you can still enjoy FFXI like it was before during the 75 eras without actually destroying your life in the process lol. My huge appreciation to the staff/GMs/engineers who work tirelessly to provide this platform for our enjoyment.
