The price of Umi is pretty expensive. This is definitely a special occasion type of restaurant. I wouldn't come here on the regular, but it's great for a birthday or a anniversary or a new job!!! EIGHT is a fine place to go if you want fancy sushi rolls with extraneous ingredients. You can find gold leaf or caviar on some rolls. Wagyu beef is also available. Many friends have touted Umi as the top sushi restaurant in Atlanta. So I HAD to take my guy, who LOVES sushi, here. Man, around 7pm is a popular time. We ended up having dinner at 8:30pm which actually worked out well in the end. Umi shares valet parking ($2 not including tip) with Chops. That is how I found the restaurant.
