Mar 24, 2014 · From my understanding, the 30 gen 4 has the same grip dimensions as the 30SF if you don't use a backstrap attachment. Also, the 30SF has the dual recoil spring assembly which is also included in the Gen 4 models. The slide is thinner on the 30S, but the widest part is the frame and they are the same width for both.
